Deep Dialing Helper - Fonolo

Great service… fonolo.com - Try it out! - it maps out the IVR menus that customers hear when they call a business phone, and allows them to directly connect to a specific level in the menu - i.e. it can select 1, then 2, then 4, then 2 on your behalf, and then call your phone when you’re connected to that level.

You also have the option of recording your call :k: for future reference.

I just tested out on a couple of business phone numbers and it works pretty well. It just takes a few minutes to setup the call initially, but then you can bookmark the call details, and next time you dial the same number, its much faster.

In my case, this is useful when I call my cable company to make changes to my channel line-ups. Rather than spend the first two minutes getting through voice prompts, I want to go directly to the person who can help me with my request.

Unfortunately, my cable company isn’t mapped yet, but Fonolo has many U.S. businesses already mapped. Give it a try! :k:

 out of all the voice prompts setup in the history of telephone, THIS implementation is the suckiest.. i now cough/sneeze/yell twice when i call and it connects me to ‘humans’.

i even tried my dad’s accent to see if was differentiating between “billing” and “technical support”

Hi

^ don't even get me started on that... aargh! - it's one of the worst phone IVR/voice prompt system I've come across. That's why when I found Fonolo, I was hoping it would have Rogers mapped as well, and when I found out that it wasn't there, I suggested it to them. Let's see...
