Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

Re: Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

I never heard it but let me do some research on it :cobra:

Re: Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

After a short while, Raja Ram reappeared at Sikandara and taking advantage of the delay in coming of Shaista Khan, the governor-designate of Agra, he attacked and plundered Akbar’s mausoleum. The Jat leader carried away the precious articles of gold and silver, carpets, lamps etc. and destroyed what he could not carry.

**According to Manucci the Jats dragged out the bones of Akbar, threw them angrily into fire and burnt them to avenge the death of Gokula. Muhammad Baqa (the Naib of Khan-i-Jahan) who was then at Agra, did nothing to frustrate the rebels. **As a punishment, therefore, 500 and that of Khan-i-Jahan reduced his mansab by 1000 sawars. The Jats also ransacked the villages, set aside for the support of Taj Mahal. Some Jats ravaged the environs of Khurja, while others captured the local Mughal officers at Palwal.

Re: Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

Jat came only to loot the valuables:D, Jats are not such religious people even, secondly none of the queens were Jat, had their been Jat queen Akbar wouldn't have had such a long life:D

Because Din-i-ilahi couldn't succeed it is now hated, had it been successful than might be there would have been books written on it:D, Success has many mothers failure is mostly orphan:D, It was mix of practices of hindu and muslim and akbar wanted to become prophet of that religion, this would have strengthened position of his progeny even theologically. He was great emperor nevertheless:)

Re: Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

Does that mean Jat women at that time were khasmaa nu khaniyan :konfused:

Yes Akbar was great emperor. Although he was illiterate and had to face to difficult situations in childhood, but with all his controversies he was able to rule successfully for about 50 years.

Re: Deen e ilahi by akbar - 1581

We can interpolate it anyday, Rajput women are very gracious, beautiful, civilized, well mannered, but politically weak in household, before marriage they follow their brothers and after marriage its husband.
Jatni is raw, partially uncivilized, over confident, equally beautiful, and has formidable say in household:). Jats weren’t as much organized then like Rajput, they had medium size landholding against vast estates of Rajputs. while Rajuput women were mostly scheming in harem, Jatnis would have made the war between queens a physical one:D
It took them another century to organize under Sikh gurus, none of gurus were Jats but the soldiers were mostly Jats which culminated in Maharaja Ranjeet Singh’s empire:)
The looting of valuables remained one of Jats tribal trait, the looted escaping English in may 1857 and later escaping delhiites in september 1857 though they were second to Gujjars in this looting act:)

Time further proved that there was no replacement when it comes to ruling, his policy of Sulh-i-kul was very much rational which further enhanced his standing among his subject,he can be termed as first apostle of multiculturalism:). none of the mughals can match his brilliance and tolerance even. He was the real architect of mughal empire,Jehangir, Shahjehan and Aurangzeb got chance to rule because of his labour and even in 1857, soldiers swore in the name of Mughal and it was also Akbar’s charisma:)
