Dedicated to the memory of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls

Two of the most prolific rappers, writers and poets of their day. Their music still influences the hip hop culture and scene.

Right on brother…

I remember my dayz in school when his influential albums were flooding da market.

There was this 1 incident when a friend when 2 buy his album…he asked da shopkeeper, can I have 2pac’s new album & da mallu shopkeeper replied - “How many packs…?” :rotfl:

Yo, this song is a symbolic reunification of Tupac and Biggie. Of course by the greatest rapper at this time, Eminem. I was shocked when I heard that Em did it. Man, he's a real talent. Hopefully we don't lose him too.

I don't mind the annoying high voice, it is a counterpoint to Biggie and TuPac, a contrast. But I think the real genius of the song is the video. Black and white, a mixing board with the empty sound engineer's chair and the videos of Biggie and Tupac showing in the studio window. A perfect symbol for the loss and a real balance between trivializing sensationalizing their deaths.

R.I.P. Don't be naughty in heaven!

PT, this song is from the movie Tupac Resurrection (in stores now). The song is produced by Eminem but the vocals and lyrics are by Tupac and Biggie.
Eminem isnt singing here.

Its a hit thesedays, but I still believe that Dr. Dre could have done a better prodcution.

Ya Ya I know it’s Tupac and Biggie’s vocals and lyrics {Arnie-skit voice on Conan show} :hehe:

Dre is a real producer but c’mon Eminem ain’t that bad either. As for the movie, I might check it out this weekend, and will post a review on it.

Listen to Hit em up by Pac... and that'll show you the king of it all...

this spng sux compared to Tupac and Biggies other work I was really disapointed by this single and especially the annoying hook.

But the rest of the soundtrack was tight. specuially Ghost and One Day at a Time... Eminem the guy who can't rap finally had sum good ish to say :D... nah he's pretty good for a white boy innit. BULLY :D

Until the end of time - 2pac

  • Perhaps I was addicted to the dark side
Somewhere inside my childhood witnessed my heart die
And even though we both came from the same places
The money and the fame made us all change places
How could it be - through the misery that came to pass
The hard times made a true friend afraid to ask - for currency
But you could run to me when you need me and I’ll never leave…*

Re: Dedicated to the memory of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls

this isnt the new song by Tupac its actually quite old...there has been another Tupac release (again produced by Eminem featuring Elton John) since then...here it is...

Tupac - Ghetto Gospel

[mp=B]52139282.39243[/mp]

Also, just like there was a remix of all Tupac's vocals released for the album 'Resurrection' there is also one for Notorious B.I.G titled 'The Biggie Duets'...the main song off that album which has been released is this featuring Jagged Edge, P. Diddy & Nelly...Jazzy Fizzle production...

Re: Dedicated to the memory of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls

but i gota admit...the 2 of them were like dynamite together...this is a new remix doing the rounds with old Biggie and Tupac vocals on the tune Ghetto by Akon...sit back and listen to a masterclass in rap....
