In our family, we have a series of dholkis for 2-3 weeks before the wedding. I want to decorate my house inside as well especially the lounge and drawing room where every one sits and does all the singing & dancing. I am sure many of you would have decorated your houses as well.
Please give me ideas and pictures of house decore from inside.
Also - not all fantastic decoration items are available in Pakistan. Any idea where i can find good ones too?
Re: Decore for dholkis inside house
These fairy lights, gauzy fabric and little bouquets of flowers can jazz up any interior even if you don’t have a staircase. You can find great items in Pakistan as well. Gul Plaza in Karachi is full of decorative items esp. light strings, artificial flowers, cushions.

Adding cushions in bright colours and mirrored hangings can spice up the lounge and drawing room where everyone is going to sit/dance. Put some on the floor while everyone is sitting and tell someone to arrange them in threes in corners and along the walls when the dancing/chaos starts.

Arrangements like these can be kept in the room corners that leave space on the floor to keep the cushions.

Arranging scented candles can look pretty as well but I don’t recommend keeping them on low level tables but in wall mounted hangings along walls at a height so that they can be lighted if needed.
