Are you in the US? If yes, most affordable are Marshall's & Home Goods. I also like Pier 1 imports but only buy stuff on sale or clearance..... we also have a Kirkland's in the mall near our home, awesome stuff and great prices.

I am not a huge fan of Pier 1...but have always found great stuff at kirkland's and Home goods and Marshall's...:)

homegoods has the most variety and is affordable.

I also like target, pier one, overstock.com, macys, kirklands, pottery barn, lowes, kohls.

in Toronto, its hands down Home Sense and Winners. Both have awesome unique one of a kind type of stuff and it rotates weekly. The Queen street Home Sense store across from the Eaton Center is THE BEST! They always get the coolest stuff.

^^Kirkland's has reasonable prices and the stuff changes quite frequently...
if you register at their website with your email they send you nice coupons too....:)
