How many of you used to decorate your notebooks or binders in school? I need some ideas to decorate my 7 year old boy’s science and history binders. Please post any nice pics/ideas?

yup i use to do this wen in school…i use to cover my book with different colour papers…

I use to do but now i don't remember bcoz of availibity of pre-binded books. :)

Oh yes I used to do tht either I used to wrap them in colourful sheets or would used black or white wrapping sheet n would colour the white sheet by drawing different pictures n then coloring them.
wth black wrapping sheet I used to apply some glittering stickers over it.
i also used to cut drawings related o tht particular notebook n would paste it on the wrapping sheets.

kia yaad dila dia.. We used to decorate with simple khaki paper.. but that used to be torn within 2 months. There was also an option for covering it with newspaper paper. The most stable was to used backsid of smooth paper from old calendars.
The girls used to cover their note books with center pages of Akhbar e Jahan and sometimes with the ads of new lawn suits published in such magazines. Once our teacher asked us to cover our books considering the upcoming Inspection. I asked my sister to cover my books, and in morning, I saw one of my books showing Ateeqa Odho (interview taken after success of Nijaat :D). As I was being late, I took the book as it is. When teacher came, he said the students who have not decorated/ covered their books stand up. Almost 90% of class stood up and the teacher left the class and came back after 30 minutes. He asked students to sit down and bring covered books next day. Then he said to the sitting students (including me) to show their covered books. Believe me, I’ve never seen a man who became so much angry 
seeing Ateeqa Odho.

hehehehe muqawee funy story i never did tht newspaper thing but v used to do the decorative wrapping only to arts subject’s notebook rest wth the same khaki wrapping but v used to apply plastic wrapping after the khaki ones in this way they were not torn out
so this prove i m more intelligent than you

We also do plastic wrapping, but in hurry if not coated with plastic, khaki covered used to tear within a week or so.

Yes I was lazy about drawing, decoration and all that... Even I use to make fair copy at the time when the teacher was dictating. For me there was no concept of separate rough / fair copy concept :p
