I also wanted to say...all the above pics are from India's IRS Series Sattelites not INSAT Series. Insat series are used for weather, communication and transmission.

These are pictures of shaheeds who were killed in a village near line of control by indian black cats…what was their crime? They were sleeping in their home and these cowards came at night and strangled 06 children their parents and their grand father.

Couple hanged for forbidden love

The caste system is rigidly observed across India

Police in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh have arrested seven people after two young lovers were hanged because they came from different Indian castes.

The boy and girl's parents were among those arrested.

The brutal deaths highlight the problems of the rigid caste system in India.

The couple, 19-year-old Vishal and Sonu, who was 18, were hanged one after another from the roof of a house in their home village in the Muzafarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Their crime - to fall in love and come from different castes.

Rigid system

Vishal was a high-caste Brahmin and Sonu was a member of the lower caste Jat community.

Hundreds watched as the couple died.

The police have arrested their parents and other close family members and according to police reports, the entire village had been opposed to their relationship.

Caste - a complex system of social stratification with its origins in Hinduism - is very rigidly observed in parts of Uttar Pradesh, and the deaths of these two young people emphasises the huge divisions in Indian society.

But India has refused to allow the caste system to be included in discussions about racial discrimination at a United Nations conference on race and xenophobia in South Africa at the end of the month.

The Indian Government claims that the caste system is based on social rather than biological differences and therefore does not fall under the ambit of racial discrimination and intolerance.

India asylum blaze kills chained patients

Police in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu say at least 25 patients have died in a fire at a privately-run mental asylum.
Many of those killed had been chained to their beds, leaving them no means of escape when flames engulfed the thatched structure early on Monday.

Police at the scene have so far recovered 25 bodies which were charred beyond recognition

The blaze in Ervadi, some 500 km (300 miles) south of the state capital, Madras (Chennai), has now been put out.

Its cause has yet to be established.

However, one report said a man running the asylum had been detained for questioning.

Police and eyewitness said the bodies of the manacled patients were "charred beyond recognition".

"Only a few people managed to escape," local police inspector Palai Swamy told the French news agency AFP.

So far the bodies of 14 men and 11 women have been found.

Another five of the 53 residents were seriously injured.

Police said the home, which was run by a religious charity, was not registered by the local authorities.

Unlicensed

In recent years reforms have been implemented in many large institutions in India which care for the mentally ill.

But the BBC's Jill McGivering in Delhi says there is still little understanding of mental illness amongst the general public, or sympathy towards patients.

Many of the fire's victims were considered extreme - patients who were seen as incurable or were very violent - and had been brought to Tamil Nadu from neighbouring Kerala state by their relatives.

The burnt-out asylum is one of several dozen situated near Ramanathapuram in the tiny Muslim pilgrimage town of Ervadi, whose waters are believed to have curative powers for the mentally ill.

But the town has a poor reputation for treatment.

Many of the so-called asylums are little more than makeshift huts, lacking specialised facilities or trained staff.

Earlier this year, one report said 10 people had been beaten to death in one of the homes.

if someone is confused about his identity what can i do?I came here at this site as it is a Pakistani site ,if you want to run it neutral than dont say it is TOPP . I can find a Pakistani site where all thick heads
can discuss their shared problems,because few thick heads can see what lies behind the lines and few thickheads cant tolerate anything against their motherland.Yet their are few pieces of brilliance who think they are smart and clever.
