unfortunately it is life building/one that shapes the future kind of decision

i need to look at it from a different prespective. maybe think about why i made this decision in the first place?

Hmm not that I recall but I am sure that I have. Most probably nothing life changing but pretty huge ones. I guess the best way to deal with such things is to do istikhara and to ask for guidance.

You get these feelings whenever you have made a big decision. After making the decision, you tend to observe the positive points of the other options. But it is OK, you will soon adapt to your choice and will be comfortable with that too.

WEll there do come such times, when decisions are huge enough to change ones life. There always are pros and cons. If you are really that sensitive about the decision to be made, better stop and think again. Since sometimes things are not reversable and its better to think before, than regretting later.

i think it’s a bit too late to do an istikhara at this point, as the decision’s been made, and can’t reverse it atleast for this year

that’s exactly what’s happening! i’m looking at the positive points of the other option i had, whereas before i was just looking at the negatives ones, and it’s like why in the world was i jumping to make this particular decision when the other one probably suited me much better hopefully i will get used to the idea.

i don’t think it’s reversible right now. i am looking at a third, midpoint option right now, but it might not be soon enough

yes i did make one really bad decision around year and a half ago and regretting to this day as i lost the most precious person i had :k:

Did you make a wrong career decison? it seems so. You did what you thought was best for you at that time so don't be too hard on yorsef sis:).I think in the end it all(or most of the time) boils down to your kismat but hopefully eventually everything will fall into its right place Inshallah :)
