People change their majors all the time. I find gora changing at least three majors during his six years in university, where as a desi picks one and tries to do it in three years. Majority of the times the major is chosen based on what’s hot in the market rather than aptitude and skills. Sometimes it is pressure form the parents which leads to wrong decisions.
Would you put your career’s choice in the hands of an eighteen year old? Probably not… but you did it for yourself when you were a freshman. What would you different (if anything) if you were to go back in time and decide majors.
