Im also getting married in December i`A. Already have my wedding outfits ordered and am going to pakistan in May, when my semester ends. The main stuff i have to go for is to order my fiance sherwani and get jahez clothing.Try Nomi Ansai, i think he should be willing to do it?
oh thats great, blushingrose, thanks! :) im not looking to spend too much on the nikkah outfit, but 1.5 is ok :) I was more hoping to find a nice outfit around 1 lakh, but maybe if I get a lot of the work taken off the outfit I could negotiate? Who would you guys recommend for pretty, traditional outfits in red? Obviously Bunto's out, cause like Gina said, she's booked for December. I think Karma makes nice red outfits.

thats good advice Gina, I've already started doing that too! But I guess its not so easy with all designers, Nomi Ansari is good about putting up his designs on Facebook so that you can email him and ask for prices, but for example, how would you know what a SS bridal is like without going?
Thats really helpful BlushingRose...i might consider Karma for the nikkah actually, but I dont know what their price range is? any tips? I know they have newer designs than whats available on the website. Maybe I should call for an appointment...
Just mail them the type of outfit u're looking for..let them mail u samples and pics, then u may ask for prices and get details :)

oh karma can come down to as low as 75000. my cousin is getting hers made in that much. a friend is getting her made in 110000. so yeah do visit them.

oh also , that one that she's getting for 110000 .. she was intitally quoted 3.8 for that outfit.

fasaadi! some of the simpler designs like the turquoise with the orange v-neck is 70,000 rs and the dark green with the square-ish kaam border is 90,000 rs--I remember getting quotes on these outfits
as for Nomi--hez just a mean person from wht I heard. oooo someone said if u go in saying u want an engagement/nikkah lengha--he always gives a lower price than if u say bridal...even if its the same design....lol......i donno if its true but ive heard.
Thats not a bad idea, mahismart, but I've heard aisha varsey's quality has gone down but I havent seen a ton of real brides in Maria B, so maybe I'll check it out :)

yeah, i think youre right about Nomi, I've heard he's really stuck up. Somebody I know recommended Rehana Saigol for bridal, anyone know of price ranges? There isn't a website, I guess I'll have to call and just book an appointment :(

Wed 06 and Wed 07 is the Deco Raj Bridal.The kaam is in pearls, naqshi and ganga jamni. the shirt and dupatta are in net organza and the gharara is in kundani zari. This bridal is also for Rs. 200,000. #29 is the Devdas Sari in sequence and dapka, the sari is in gorgette chiffon and the blouse is in brocade. This sari is for Rs 55,000.
The Shamim Ara Sari, # ctr 1, has ari on its blouse and nakshi beeds on the sari. The sari is in chiffon and the blouse is in rawsilk.. this is for Rs 75,000.
