Would you go into marriage knowing your partner is in debt, or wait and put marriage off until he/she pays it off? Is this is something you would want to know about the other person before deciding to marry them or is it one of those territories you do not go to before deciding about marriage with someone?

No way.. and besides the debts often get much worse after marriage with all the extra costs and everything piling up.. I wouldn’t marry if I was in debt either..
