p.s. I m sorry. I was a bit bussy lately so could not reply much

Re: Debating S&P subforum?

it should be more like convention centre where guppies like Chaudhry hassan reply wits!

hi

Re: Debating S&P subforum?

i'd love to have something like that. But i've seend people in this forum start accusing and abusing and using profanity against one another . If that can be controlled it'll be marvelous

Re: Debating S&P subforum?

And for that, we have cafe + general

Re: Debating S&P subforum?

Yes I agree. But I doubt there s enough animo for it overhere.
People tend to visit this part of gs once a week :elmo:

Re: Debating S&P subforum?

dp, i hear ya bro!

i've been playing with this idea myself....of having two weekly discussion between two persons.

a format like this i had in mind:

  1. a topic is highlighted.
  2. people can subscribe to debate it
  3. two people (one for and one against) will debate with each other one at a time with a post length of 1000 characters or so
  4. a total of 5 posting rounds will be held
  5. afterwards, other guppies can join the debate
  6. in the end a conclusion is drawn and we can start at point 1 again

  7. however, i don't think there is much animo or jest for this

Re: Debating S&P subforum?
