**Several people are reported to have been killed after a bus came off a road and slid down an embankment east of Duesseldorf, in western Germany.**One unconfirmed report said the bus had ended up in a river.
Some survivors managed to escape from the wreckage, but others were trapped inside, German media said.
Emergency services are on the scene. A police spokesman said: “At the moment we believe that there are several dead and injured.”
