I have now realized that this life is nothing, everything like studies, work , profession is not worth a thing. I feel like i have to start from beginning, correct my prayers, start wearing hijab, a better relashionship to others and etc. I’ve felt death near by, very close.. And my amaal is so bad, so many sins..oh Allah forgive my and my parents sins!
Im thinking of resigning my job this week, bc i have alomost only male co workers. I know you guys will think its not the right thing, but im afraid of my death and hashar.
I know it will take time to find a new one, or i ll stay at home. No incom means less money, but Allah will help me.
what do u suggest?!
For girls: any of u wear GAON?! what do u suggest to wear outside??
May God bless you with every success in this world and the next, and Ameen to your duas! Did you mean to ask if we wear "gowns" as in abayas/ coats outside?

If you want to make your akhirat then do good things like helping people, treating everyone nice, doing all your work honestly, no back biting, etc. Just quitting your job, wearing a burqa, or isolating yourself is too extreme. Your studies, school, and other such stuff is not at all worthless. Islam is one of the religions’ which has stressed the most on education and it has asked people to go out and discover the world.
If you keep yourself in your limits, wear proper clothing (meaning you are fully covered), talk, walk, treat others and yourself in a respectful manner then it really doesn't matters if you work with 1 man, 10 men, or no men.
Wish you all the best with everything. It is very nice to see that you actually fear akhirat and want to mend yourself but during that process don’t take any extreme that might not be needed. May Allah help you and all of us. Ameen
artdeco sister. Pray for guidence from Allah, seek wisdom from Quran and Sunnah and “DO” what your heart sincerely tells you to do, and “DON’T” listen to people who might call you extreme only on the basis of wearing hijab and quiting a job you are not comfortable with. Also don’t get decieved by thoughts like “only honesty and other moral values are enough to become good muslims” ISLAM is a “Complete way of life” which means it is never enough, we should keep trying to follow the Prophet (saw) in every aspect of life.
Sister, you are among the really blessed people of todays modern age, that you YOURSELF feel and realize the truth, it is because you are sincere to yourself and don’t easily let false thoughts interfere your sincere search for truth. There is nothing extreme in wearing hijaab and there is nothing extreme in quiting a job you don’t feel comfortable with. Such job is not a chalange for you but is making your duty of protecting your “Haya” difficult for you. So if you think you can find a better job where you feel more comfortable than go for it.
Remember! it is not what people think is important to you, but what you sincerely feel Allah (swt) and the Prophet (saw) demand from you.
p.s. Kindly don’t even give importance to my opinion if you think it is not similar to the voice of your heart. Be sincere to what you think Allah (swt) wants from you and don’t listen to / take care of anyone who comes in between you and your sincere search for truth.
May ALLAH (swt) bless us all with the wisdom and strength to follow the path which Allah (swt) wants from us.
