Death....

some ppl say that cause of death is just an excuse? is this true?
as a muslim are we supposed to believe that everything is written? or is it a hindu thing that we sometimes get misleaded to follow?

I heard from some stories how ANGEL of DEATH use to just appear in person before taking the soul away of that person? is this true or not?

It seems to me that you are talking about two things here.

  1. Destiny
  2. Death

The question of fate and destiny is an interesting one, because we naturally believe that Allah is All Powerful and All Knowing. So obviously He knows exactly what we are up to and what we'll end up doing in the future, so why bother with the whole life and just tell us if we are going to end up in hell or heaven. However, the more dominant view is that each human being is given choices and its up to the human being to take the routes he wants to. And whatever we chose will lead up to where we end up. So, while Allah knows, we still are masters of our own destiny. Its a difficult concept to grasp, no doubt.

Re: death, there are many stories going around as to how people used to die. Many of them are found in books like "Maut ka manzar - Marnay ke baad kiya hoga" that are compiled supposedly through a collection of words from sacred texts, prophets and other religious figures. Most of these descriptions sound unreal, but as they say "Wallah o Aalim" (i.e. Allah knows best). Very few people survive a near-death experience and even that is totally different from death. And no one survives a death, so we are in no position to know what actually happens, except ofcourse, when our time comes. So, if I were you, I would not worry too much about whether Hazrat Israel will show up physically or not. Not just yet. As long as you have done good deeds in your life, you should be ok.

yes i guess, we can find out answers to all these mysterious puzzles after life :) till then, enjoy life, do good deeds and relax :)

The angel of death used to appear before howeverpeople would through rocks at him (you'll notice when you die that he will have one busted eye.):p

The point of life for a muslims should be to wait for the time he will die, be prepared for it. And since you don't know when you'll die, you should always be prepared and be a good muslim. The point of life is to live for the hereafter.

yepp....so i guess when and where we are going to die is not written?

It is. However you don't know and won't know before the time comes.
