U need to get new blood into this forum quick time or it’ll die a slow and lonely death. Seriously, I only ever see the same people here over and over again.
Shame really cuz this forum has so much potential. Thing is right, all the posts are so similar. Some1 starts a thread about salwars - so 3 other threads follow … one on shawanis, one on duppates and one on Saris (k, so I made that last bit up … but do u catch my drift ??? )
This forum has by far the most intelligent people in Gupshup posting in it … but the topics u choose only attract a certain clientele - Mid Aged Americans that were born in Pakistan and now work in boring office jobs. U need to branch out a little.
Make it daring … Make it inviting … Make it the most talked about forum on Gupshup.
Obviously I need to share moderating duties with NYA.
You only did half the job. Pointing out the shortcomings of the threads here is ok, but you need to back it up with some enlightening threads of your own.
Why don’t you contribute a few daring and inviting topics so we can see if you are up to the job of sharing this forum with the legendary NYAhmadi?
We’ve already had topics about kanjar community and desi cursing before you landed here with a bang so perhaps I’ll dig those out for you if you like your topics a little spicy
moderators ..moderate the forum and are not promoters of the forum. Its for members to promote and use. At one time when a now retired legendary mod had the time to devote to this forum it was a thriving place..but thats in the past.
Heck if you have great ideas and things to talk about, why not do so ..no one needs to be a mod to contribute.

Surely the moderator should take charge for the general well being of the forum, and not just the censorship of it …. If a forum is not attracting enough guppies than isn’t it the job of the moderator to do something about it … ???

Sadi Love. Thanks for stirring up the talk and I agree with you that we need to buck this place up a notch or a few. Spring time is here and it brings the best out of people and let’s hope that the next 3 or 4 months we will have some interesting topics covered. So as Xtreme pointed out, you are more than welcome to make your contributions here, and we all appreciate you wit-ness and wetness. One thing that I admire most about our culture is that there’s not a long transition between temperate and congeality. I am hoping that we witness some real impassioned stuff here in days to come. Fraudz is pulling your legs. There were no other moderators of this forum before me. Infact, this place was opened specifically for me to keep me away from other forums. If you think that this place is dead, wait until I decide to quit. You will see what dead really means.

Rom. I have no objection to it so long as it is OK with Sobi. I think for now let’s keep it to two Mods, as 3 have not been tried on Gupshup before (but again, there’s always first time for everything). If you wana do it alone, may be we can ask Azkar to open up a new place just for you.
I dont think there is anything wrong with this forum. Infact I visit this particular one most often, cuz I do get to read a lot of contributions relating to my interests and hobbies etc.
As far as the moderating duties go, you people can do it with whoever you wish to. It may involve more than two people. I say two is a company and three is a family

Omigod, don’t tell me that u don’t know !!! I swear, desi men are so naïve when it comes to women’s clothing. Saris are made with this special flap near the woman’s bottom. It’s really very discreet and is sewn into the sari so that it’s not visible to the human eye. Whenever the woman needs to do her business, she just unzips the flap and she’s rearing to go. Hmmmmmmmmm. Obviously the wife’s been telling u porkies. All that time she spends in the bathroom at weddings and functions, she’s not ‘doing her business’ - she’s just gossiping with fellow ‘sari wearers’ … And I had u down as such a clever little thing

I think if the duties are required to be shared then our Drama Queen (Shaitan ki Khala) would be an ideal choice. Sometime, I wonder if she wrote dramas.
