people who are against Death Penality refer to following example:
Picton Farmer killed over 20 women - Stupid Cdn’ Gov’t puts him in jail…:smack:

or that woman, who conspired with her husband and killed 2 girls, and is freed within 3 years…:rolleyes:

Capital punishment is a must, if you kill someone then you should be killed unless you are mentally retarded or the person you killed was a killer.

Millions of dollars are used to let 1 killer live. Instead of wasting it, give it to charity, run awareness programs, etc.

I agree with the Bro above that Islam has given us two choices one is that you punish the crime with the equality of the severness of crime. I mean eye for an eye and blood for blood. But Islam is a religion of tolerance and most likey the best of all of us is the one who is the most forgiving. So rather than beheading the person why not imprison him or her for life. Why do we give charge of taking life in hands of an ordinary human beings. And I believe we all as human beings make mistakes and I am sure 1 out of hundred murder cases get the wrong decision. So if the judge unknowing the fact decide to give death penalty than He will be the one responsible for the death of an innocent person on the day of justice. Killing is the major sin in our religion and by removing death penalty we can save some innocent lives and be forgiving.
All I am saying is that what's the difference btween the murderer and the victim family who is trying to get the murderer beheaded. In both case a life will be lost. SO lets not waste a precious gift of life and take away the right to live from someone when God has granted this right equally to everyone. Lets all remember that you can forgive that person by not beheading it and imprisoning it for life but God will punish him for his share on the day of Justice.
