I was just wondering what the proper procedure in Islam for dealing with the death of a friend is. Recently a very young friend of mine was killed instantly in a brutal car accident. Are there special prayers or duas to do in such instances? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
I have lost two friends due to death… one was killed in an accident back in 8th… One died due to lukemia (sp?)

what we can do is to just pray for them with heart for their maghfirah…
we can read quran for them..
do some sadqa-e-jariah for their sake…
The best dua we can give em is sadqa-e-jariah as Anwar stated. What I do is buy a Quran and if I can read it I do then donate it to the mosque with instructions in the front to send prayers to whomever, whoever reads it.
