Re: Death in Sujood on Her Wedding Night
Logic dictates that if this bride was so concerned about her salah then why did she agree to be in heavy makeup when she knew that she will have to make wudu for Isha around the same time all the guests were there.
The time for Isha is a long time so she did not have to rush for it anyway. It is not like she would miss salah ba jamat if she would not pray right after the azan.
It is not obligatory on women to pray with jamat.
She could tell her mom , no problem , I will freshen up my makeup after my wudu and salah.
I am assuming She was being married to a Muslim , the guest were Muslims so it is hard to believe that there was nobody else from the guests who would be concerned about salah, What about moulvi who would have been there to perform nikah.
The Muslim weddings I go to always make arrangements for all the pryers which will happen during the timing of the party , be it a small party hall or a 5 star hotel. East or West Muslims always make arrangements for guests to pray in a jamat.
If the guests were so stupid that they would make fun of her to be a bride without makeup then who cares about those stupid guests.
Her mother thought that her daughter would look an ugly duckling without makeup. what a loser this mother is.
Brother this story might touch the hearts of simple folks in a village but not the women who think logically and do not take every story by a moulvi on its face value and say subhan allah , mashallah . You have to tell them a story which does not have so many loose corners like this one has.
In what world are you living that you never seen people, correct muslims, who are actually like in this story?
Whetehr this story is false or true, this is a very reallife scenario, unfortunately. So more power to the person whose Imaan is so strong that he/she does not care for these worldly things.
I know people who let their son/brother divorce a woman because she was punctual at praying.
