my first intention was to go India this month and i had all my reserch done and everything but that got cancelled on the last minute coz of visa problem then i thought i’ll go Dubai but my parents disagree they want me to go PK but i HATE it there…reason…coz from the last 5 years i have been i hav not found one descent thing in Liberty, photstadium and anarkuli…
im REALLY struggling…my dadsd gona get the tickets and i have to shop for my wedding outfit and im freaking out…wot if i’ll get cheated by ppl…and i dont find wot im looking for phir?..what if its all teppi?..
if ANY ANY ANY girls are from PK from GS please PLEASE let me know of good places like nice boutiques who dont ripp you and CERTAINLY no typical ANTY jee’s who dont lisun to me and ignore me I HATE THAT…
last time i went she din lisun and jus dyed my hair ORANGE…wot the HELL…
i was thinking of Hina boutique or may be Moh mehdi?..but will they be able to make me nice 40 jores in 10 days including my wedding and valima?..will they do package deals?..

Wat's GS? I am from Lahore. There are many good fashion designers in pak and u need not to worry. I dont know how all that you said happened to u...lady dying yr hair orange w/o listening 2 u and all...i dun think its anythin wrong with the people here but yrself cuz how did u allow any1 to color yr hair w/o yr consent?!? lol its really funnie and shocking at the same time. IF pak is a new place for u than u have 2 be extra careful just like u ought to be in any new country.
I don't know why r u freeking out about shopping in pakistan and the biggest worry of your's is not to get ripp off.well u have very less time and too much to do .A lot of nice places to go shopping but in that little time and good designs u have to go for boutiques and they r gonna be expensive and it seems like they r charging u much.You have to relax get all the information u can and go for it.

I don't know why you didn't like anything.. they have some pretty decent and trendy stuff down liberty and some other places. I did most of my wedding shopping from there in summer. theres this shop called 'think pink' as well as some other.. can't remember there names but this one was good as well as about 2/3 boutiques in fortress stadium .. one was kashish (you won't get kaam waale jorey but fancy) n another was i think Zia Sons? (will confirm name later) .. its about 2/3 shops away from kashish and has some really gorgeous nice suits n sarees n kaam waaley jorey...
i jus havnt found the ryt stuff i guess…and everytime i go its teppii…

Ok i knw that was kinda catty but I don't get how you can NOT find good stuff in karachi or lahore..dekho, practically entire Pakistani population abroad goes back to Pakistan jus tfor wedding shopping, you think they have the same problem? I think you just need to maybe let go of your "fantasy" look and be more flexible..you might not find that look you always dreamed of (it might not even be all tha tgreat if u see it in reality) but you can damn well find absolutley gorgeous things, especially in Lahore.

I can tell u abt Lahore, i dunno abt karachi..
artifical jewelry can be pretty decent, the good stuff is not cheap. i've not bought big sets or anything, just earrings and bracelets and little things..
in ten days u're better off getting the bulk of your clothes ready made. i can vouch for "Exclusive" boutique located in Bahadurabad, tariq road in karachi. their dresses are nice but they will not bargain to a lower price. other than that you can find good unstiched cloth at Gulf market in Clifton (always bargain with them and let them know you will be buying alot of cloth so they will agree to bargain. gulf market also has lots of shops that will stich and embroider cloth you have bought....its towards the back of the market you can ask anyone.
if u start from day 1 you can most probably get a few dresses stiched in 10 days.
dont bother with deepak perwani but bareeze could be nice.
you need alot of time for your clothes made .. the reason -- your different choice ..
we are getting our sister's bridal dress made and it's taking like a month's time ..
even then only lehnga will be made .. then if she likes it -- then the dupaata will be made accordingly .. o therwise will be changed ..
similarly the things i have been buying for my sister took me more than a few days .. as you really have to search and check in pakistan before buying .
it's not you are being cheated . it's the unavailability of the things on time .
