Could it be possible to suspend Ahmadi’s editting (not posting but just editting) privileges?
Our current policies allow members to edit their own posts. That policy stands right now.
Based on some recent events, we may re-evaluate this policy, but no decision has yet been made. Change in this policy, if any, will be applicable across the board to all members and will be publicized in the usual manner.
Thanks for pointing it out.
Faisal,
Thanks for a ministry-of-public-affairs-and-information-sound-alike response. However, I don't really give a squat if people edit or not edit their posts. The case in point was exceptionally, and exclusively for Ahmadi.
This pretty much means that the request, regardless of how silly it might have sounded, was meant to commit the horrific crime of not letting Ahmadi edit his posts, make amendments, or delete them altogether. It was a plea for unfairness, an act of badmaashi, injustice, and seena zori not to let him do what he wanted to.
It was mainly an urgence to sabotage his individual and equal rights, no matter how much dictorial actions might have been needed, going as far as to defy the bounderies to have sent couple of hoodlums at his residence who would tie him up, shut down and trash his computer, hindering him to edit his posts while authorities at gupshup take and complete necessary totalitarian steps to take away his due privileges.
Kapeesh?
