Okay guys - thank you for sharing your level of tolerance for the word “shyte”. I am sure none of you have ever come across this offensive word in all your lives; furthermore, I am sure none of you would ever dare utter this word out loud. It’s just too too tooo too sickening and should be rated R and banned by GS - how about we have a poll now for censoring all forms of this word?
As for reporting them, well I’ve already mentioned, we respect differences in senses of humours - as there are wide age differences, background differences, socio-economic differences between the guppies here. Also, it is quite immature to report every other post here and shows serious tolerance issues in a person - or, lack of tolerance, rather.
SU -I usually don't go to joke forum but my point in that joke it is not rated-G, other wise you can call men whatever you want vacant etc but since this is a public forum as you know the rules you seem quite intellegent we don't use words like shyte thats why I think that joke was not appropriate.

These forums have been there for ten years and I am moderating Jokes forum for just for a few months. I try to keep the clean jokes in. If I slack in anyway others report them to me and I take care of non G rated or offensive jokes.
It is not possible for me to go and check each and every thread for last ten years and clean them all. Yes if any of the jokes from the the history are reported to be as offensive and found offensive are taken out.

To Gangster, … its good to be team player, but that works better in industry, office etc, here on discussion forum it does not work or look nice! or at least leaves a bad taste to readers and shows like if one is so naive and need outside help!
I remember it was the 9th n 10th of Zul hajj when Mirch opened a thread "Kamasutra" right after I used this word in this sentence "if you think kids should know everything about sex then start teaching them kamasutra " in life1......I was offended but said nothing.
hey i haven't got a clue wot the hoopla is about but i was going to respond to mirch uncle's saying that no one is sticking with the thread opener because she doesn't write decently or something to that effect... i think that is very immature and shouldn't come from a mod.
p.s. feedback is more interesting than most other forums these days :D
Hey, UZ - I respect people who speak up when they see wrong, it's an admirable quality to have.
I'd suggest going to jokes forum and seeing other jokes about women in there - please tell me when you decide to speak against them as well. :)
U know wat S-U i was thinking bout the same last nite that a joke bout a guy (which i would admit i did not read) was reacted to then how come jokes about women are not restricted. I myself was offended against a joke which was posted there sometime ago. Actually it was a video about inflatable women and ppl found that funny.
So yeah i'm not saying it's wrong to be reacting against the guy joke. all i'm saying is that there should be some kind of restriction on jokes against either genders.
