Oh I always confront em...meaning ask em that have you been saying that ...always puts them on notice to watch their mouths the next time...PS I do it very politely and diplomatically :)
Agreed.
Usually I'd say ignore it, but Iv'e seen someone very close to me almost loose a v. good friend bcoz of someone's backbiting... so yes, its best to sit with both persons A & B, and ask them to their face... most normal ppl aren't as proficient at lying at other ppl's face!
