I reviewed the the thread as well…the three common themes were
No drinking, smoking, drug use, gambling…these are really easy to avoid and I know several people that don’t part take in any of these. Even if they did in the past they don’t do it now.
pre-marital sex…this one might be a little more un-realistic as most people date around have sexual relations before marriage but still their is a good chunk of the Muslim population that can hold in their “urges”…or at least they masturbate..
(big porn pandemic in the muslim world) to hold in their sexual desires. #repressed…
Being a 5x namaz/following 5 pillars of Islam…Some people miss prayers, but I think the common theme here is that they at least try, same thing can be said for fasting, but I can’t speak for people about this point.
Of course no one is perfect…I’m sure as they get older or don’t find a spouse these deal breakers aren’t as hard line as people make them out to be.
