I was considering a rishta and he had done something similar during his undergrad years. It was a red flag for me. I started to pay careful attention to how he differentiates right from wrong, and if his overall values were such that he didn’t care about doing the right thing. It didn’t permeate through his personality. When I realized that, it wasn’t a big deal anymore.
If it were to happen in the present, I would at least bring it up in conversation.
