Army is waiting to see if public order does not deteriorate, that can if government do something silly. Anyhow, if public order would get deteriorate than to maintain public order they would act to get rid of person illegally occupying Prime Minister office. :)
Anyhow, it is not duty of army, police or paramilitary forces to suppress political discontent in the country and attack political opponents. What happened on 17th June at TUQ residence, that would have sent government, includign Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Law Minister, as well as all police officers involved to prison and later to rope.
[News is that, inquiry commission has already recommended that names of Prime Minister Thug Gullu Shareef, Chief Minister Chotta Thug Gullu Shareef, Hamza Shahbaz, Rana Sannaullah, Saad Rafeeq, Secretary Punjab, and many senior police officers to get included in FIR on charges of murder].
The law gives people a right to PEACEFUL protest ONLY. When the people resort to violence then the police can take action against them even if they have to shoot them.
Legal or illegal is decided by the courts and not by Imran Khan.
^^^ So, what police was doing at TUQ residence on 17 June, killing innocent and peaceful men, women and children (even shot pregnant women at point blank, on her face, killing the woman and fetus) just to make Thugs in power happy? Seeing that, how can anyone trust police?
And yea, if police thinks that they can take action on civilians and shoot people to make their political masters happy (what Pakistani police regularly do), than obviously people also do not wear bangles, they can get violent with police and if required can also shoot police.
Police is police as long as they obey laws, stay impartial, and abide by the regulations that governs them. A policeman who start violating laws and start acting against the people on behalf of rulers, than such policeman becomes worse than political worker, rather worse than criminals, and it is right of citizens to defend themselves and take such policeman to task using all means (obviously if they can).

While the citizens are left vulnerable to all sorts of attacks. The other 5 days the same police officers spend running around The Secretariat offices trying to secure the same babysitting jobs because it's a Chill lifestyle that they've grown accustomed to; no fuss no muss easy salary.

So yesterday Imran blasted Geo and Jung group for starting this deal rumour. He openly challenged Sharif family to put a price on him if they can and see if he can be bought. And today all those disgraced Geo journalists are acting like kettle on steroids on social media because the don Shakeel ur Rehman was on put on blast yesterday, hence spewing absolute filth against IK and PTI.
I feel sorry for members who are still going litter every single thread with tweets from Geo group. I doubt anyone apart from PTI haters are stupid enough to see Geo's "reporting" on PTI as proper journalism. They're simply beyond desperate atm.
Police is rabid dog under control of who ever is in power. No chance of justice for the poor. it will never change until the whole system is thrown out with the corrupt leaders. When you travel to other countries, than you realize how far behind Pakistan is and how much of a massive failure the political system is. uneducated masses report to ballot box because they have always endorsed certain party or they were promised a personal favor. no one vote in best interest of Pakistan. some people don't show due to apathy and rigging election further support their decision to stay home. in way you reap what you sow.
