Sri Lanka Bombings Live Updates: ISIS Claims Responsibility for Attacks
? The Islamic State claimed responsibility on Tuesday for the Easter Sunday bombings at churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, as the government there raised the number of people killed to 321. The group?s Amaq news agency called the bombers ?Islamic State fighters.?
? The government said the bombings might have been in retaliation for the killing of 50 people last month at mosques in New Zealand, and that two Islamist extremist groups might have been involved, not one.
? The F.B.I. has joined the investigation, officials said, as recriminations continued over the Sri Lanka government?s failure to act on warnings that terrorists were planning to attack churches. The country?s highest Roman Catholic prelate joined those chastising the government.
Problem is, why are muslims joining these terror organizations when any sane person already nose they are zionists-controlled organizations. Are these muslims working for such terror organizations insane? Why can’t the learn basics of Islam before deciding to join these terror groups?
On the other hand, I think Sri Lanka is the most sensible, unbiased & wise country in the world (after NZ). I am sure that is why it was attacked. But made to appear like ‘retaliation’. Sri Lankan might have sympathized with muslims. That could be why.
The moment I heard about it, my heart kinda sank in. Ita a horrible, horrible tragedy. Humanity all along, and the worshipers during the deed should never feel unsafe or unsecure. But now it has totally changed.
And Sri Lankans, just like New Zealand are so innocent and loving people. No idea how this big thing got planned and executed.
The news is that RAW had informed SL govt about it much earlier but their govt was fighting within itself so they ignored it.
@FigmentOfYour I’m just telling you whats all over the news. Look it up. RAW got a tip about this already and they had informed Sri Lankans. But SL’s govt is a mess. The President is keeping all the powers including the security agencies and the PM is never briefed and never invite them in high level meetings. The ruling party calls it a “Political coup” (Sounds familiar in Pakistani terms?) Anyhow so basically their security agencies was once told by RAW and a couple of tips from other informants but they never paid attention to that.
I had no idea Buddhist extremism was such a problem in Sri Lanka. Buddhism has a reputation of being a peaceful philosophy. And, Sir Lankan people are known to be gentle and peaceful (in spite of their 30yr civil war).
Nevertheless, this attack was completely senseless and barbaric. Christians and Muslims are both small minorities in Sri Lanka and are both victimized by Buddhist extremists. Makes no sense why Muslims would target Christians.
^You guyz are saying as if everything is so made up lol. SL govt has acknoweldged all the previous records of Indians informing them. Thats why whole world is b!tching them out and they are highly embarrassed. And now their govt has put a ban on social media as well.

Raw knowing this in advance is not a big deal. Intelligence information shared among countries is a norm, and they are not as specific as Indian media is telling us. You need to know what intelligence sharing actually means. They share a lot of things, many of which are hardly specific. Indian agency would be sharing a lot of junk, generic and hardly credible intelligence reports in past. Out of that experience with Indian intelligence, SL govt also neglected current intelligence report.
as India has been supporting Tamil tigers against SL govt, most probably RAW have tricked SL govt to not to take the current report seriously by sharing false intelligence reports in the past.
So RAW favoring SL govt doesnt make sense. Nor is SL govt that dumb that it could not act upon that much specific information shared by RAW.
