**A bomb blast has killed at least seven students at a school in Iraq, reports from the capital say.**The explosion also wounded at least 30 others, the reports say. The toll is expected to rise.
The attack happened in the Shia neighbourhood of Sadr City, an impoverished area that is seen as a stronghold of Shia militants.
Many children were returning to school for the first time after the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha.
The blast happened at 1310 local time (1010 GMT) at Abaa Dhar School for boys in the north-east of Baghdad, AFP reported.
Government figures show that violence in Iraq has fallen generally over the past 18 months. Figures also indicate that civilian deaths last month, at 88, fell to their lowest level since the 2003 US invasion.
