Did the elite police force arrive on the scenes yesterday? I heard the Metro bus got attack. So presumably not.
The protests are still going on and they turned violent since yesterday. Is the police or the government doing anything other than baton charging the protesters as usual?
It is one angry anti government protest by a tiny minority in government's own backyard. Minorities need to stand up for their rights. The only way the bigoted leaders will wake up.

first and foremost, christian community should not have killed those 2 people and those who are responsible shd be bring to court but just look at the reporting style..

The brother of one of the lynched men has filed a FIR for murder against the protestors, saying the deceased was a local glass cutter who had nothing to do with the attack.

One question: Do you consider 'kafir' and 'wajib-ul-qatal' fatwa issuing machines working full time in the mosques as "anti-Pakistani elements"?

anyone issuing such fatwas and/or other hate speeches against any Pakistani, regardless of their religion, believes, ethnicity and linguistic reasons is anti-Pakistani and should bee treated accordingly...

So rangers were called in to disperse the crowd and the protesters cleared up the area in no time. Another feather (failure) in might Punjab police's hat.
So where was the Punjab elite force (other than policing the palaces of PMLM mafia) and how come the might Punjab police failed to effectively deal with a relatively small protest, in terms of number? Pathetic really.
It seems like Punjab police has to be the most disgraced, useless and hated force in Pakistan, the moment you put them in front of an angry anti government crowd, the crowd literally flares up. Poor police walas, often gets confused as personal militia of PMLN than law enforcement force there to protect the citizens. Maybe time to relax the mindless baton charge and uniformed thuggery.
