Two Texans were out in the woods hunting, when one of them keels over,
falls to the ground, and stops breathing. The other pulls out his cell
phone and dials 9-1-1:
“9-1-1 operator. What is the nature of the emergency?”
“My friend’s just dropped to the ground dead!” yells the hunter.
In a calm, soothing voice, the 9-1-1 operator tells the man “just calm
down sir, and we’ll get through this. The first thing we need to do is
make sure he’s dead.”
A long silence, then the sound of a single shot.
“O.K.” says the man…“now what?”
