Take a long drive out in the country side and just focus on the scenery. It is surprisingly relaxing. Sit in a hot bath for an hour, light some scented lavender oil candles and just close your eyes (please don’t drown yourself in the process). Like Shahreen suggested, which I am also a huge fan of, get a nice body massage. It always helps. You said not to mention it but doing some thai kick boxing feels amazing after a stressful day … or some yoga.
TruckDriver says it right. Grab a notebook and a pen and start writing down incoherent thoughts... whatever comes to mind. Do not pause to think what you have to write next. I used to do that too, but with a twist. I wrote em without any spaces. Just one big word till the line ended. For example:
Once the page is complete go over it. These are the thoughts that have been stressing you out. And now they are on ink and paper. Hope this helps with the destressification.
