My Sis in law said its a good idea to keep a bucket of luke warm water diluted with dettol in the bathroom..so everytime u use bathroom..clean urself with that water so you dont get infection coz of stitches and change ur pad everytime..

if you dont want to use chemicals (dettol) I put a few drops of Tea Tree Essential oil in the warm water, it helps against infections and heals too.
