For the parents sending their kiddos to daycare…do you pack their lunch and snack for daycare or let them eat what they serve at the daycare?
Re: Daycare food vs. home food
I wish I had that option- the daycares here serve really healthy nutritious food- at least the ones I looked at. The ones I saw in California all require kids to bring lunches from home and I’m honestly not excited. I’ll have a newborn with me inshallah and cooking is already such a challenge for me ![]()
Re: Daycare food vs. home food
My son is starting daycare on monday and i am wondering about this. I always pack his food for the nanny so i am already use to that…but my LO doesn’t like anything mushy, so some of the things on the menu i know he won’t eat…but half of them he will. So not sure what i should do.

Give him a chance at trying the new things? Monkey see, Monkey do is a powerful thing amongst kids! ![]()
Re: Daycare food vs. home food
I used to pack his lunch. However, on Fridays I would sometimes buy him the pizza lunch.
Re: Daycare food vs. home food
My little monkey never follows the other monkey
but i will try and see if he eats their food first.
