According to Al Jazeera, even more people poured out on the streets after Mubarak’s pathetic speech.

^I agree. If he had outrightly condmened the protest and threatened to take action, he might have scared off people. By saying that governmemt will be dissolved and new on instated, i think will encourage more protests.

He probably would have been better off just proclaiming himself the pharaoh of Egypt.
