As the day of judgement comes closer, what will become of the middle east? This sounds like an odd question, but im asking in light of whats happening in gaza right now. Do any of the hadith or sunnah mention the existance of an isreali state in the future (aka near the day of judgement) … if they do, then does that mean the destruction of palestine?
i heard once that before the day of judgement ( a long time before… islam will gain great power and become very strong - everyone will be muslim, and then slowly people will again begin to forget their faith – only then will the final things that are supposed to happen will start – (aka Prophet Isa (peace be upon Him) will come and fight dajal)…
first of all to not believe anything which is 'sahih' in ahadith .. or qur'aan ..is not accepted cos that denies the basic belief in the unseen and the unknown .. which the prophet SAW has said ...and that cant be defined as fiction .. its facts !!
As the poster above said ... yes .. things will become back to normal and the hadith you ve heard is correct ... but before that things will have to get ugly ..as its happening ... around the world ... untill Imaam Mahdi arrives ....alot of events will unfold .. amongst it Dajjal will be around ... more events will unfold .. till a time will come where Hazrat Isa AS will arrive from the heavens ... get Rid of the dajjal ..obviously ..not in the first hour ...things will happen ... events will unfold ... Hazrat Isa will not come as a Prophet but a follower of our Holy Prophet SAW ..(reasons for that) .. Hazrat Isa will live for 40 years ...in which there will inshaAllah be Islam all over the world once again ... he will pass away .. more events will occur ..till a time comes then it will be judgment day ..
every religion tends to believe that in the end times all of the people will convert to their faith. you can call it "faithy wishful thinking" if you prefer.

ALL faiths claim that ALL people will convert of their faith,
only TWO are right.
