The original tradition was for the girl’s sisters and cousins to take breakfast for the bride and groom, but over time it’s evolved to taking breakfast for the family also, and now hosting breakfasting/bruch for them.

In some families the elder ladies give milk to the bride in the morning to help her regain her “strength”. I would be MORTIFIED if my Nani-in-law did this!!!

OMG i hope no one tries to feed me milk - ill be hiding under the table sharam se!!!
