PMS symptoms can include bloating....so the water weight could possibly be the reason why you haven't seen much of a difference when you step on the scale. However, as I said earlier, stepping on the scale frequently is not the best indicator to see if you've lost weight....as weight fluctuates during the day.

@nadz123 I am also aiming to lose some weight for my cousin’s wedding next week. I am not dieting too much just excluding certain things from my diet including sugar. Other than that I do the treadmill and bonnie’s pilate’s workout for belly twice a day.

I’ll let you know the results soon.

3 days... i've just lost a pound... not much :( Hopefully the weight loss will accelerate.

A pound in 3 days is good.

Its recommended you don't lose more than 1/2 lbs per week

Apologies, way I wrote that made it seem like I meant 'half a pound', since I wrote "1/2 lbs per week"

What I meant to say was that losing 1 or 2 pounds in a week is good, anything more is unhealthy

Check each week, the same day and ear;ly in teh morning after going to teh bathroom and on an empty stomach. You will lose weight IA.Also, note that if you are very heavy according to your built the initail weight will come off quick. E.g. if someone is 170 lbs and is 5 feet 4 inches. But if you are not too overweight then the weight loss will be slower. Even slower if you are not medically overweight but want to lose weight anyways. EG if you are 5 feet 5 inches and 145 lbs and want to lose more. Even half a lb a week is ok then.

I have noticed adding a bit more activity in the evening e.g a 20 minute walk on top of the other excercise helps.
