Its actually a good channel. News is entirely in English, for those of you who aren’t in touch with your Urdu.
Built in entertainment as well, so its not entirely news. I like Ayesha Alam’s show : No Reservations.
Overall, its a good channel. We’re thinking of switching to Dawn News.
Dawn News seems to be included in the Pak Mega-Pak. TV One was recently included.

Their website is not up yet which is bad since I believe Dawn news has been on-air in Pakistan for quite sometimw now. Also the new DAWN website dawn.com stinks.
I also can’t find a webiste for TV One.
All these wannabe channels can’t get their EPGs right ever and don’t have an online schedule page either. Really unprofessional. You would think that if they are bothering to make good shows they would want people to be able to catch them on a schedule. I always wonder why they can’t hire 1 person to keep their schedule guides updated.

Ditto for No Reservations. I was glued to the channel the other night when she had it on.

She asks good questions, and her English is fairly good. Not the usual "Acha, tho aap star hain, aap ko kaisa lagta hai ?"

Ayesha Alam was so awesome (and so catty) when she hosted Pakistan's first film based chart show in the mid 90s...after that she never quite dazzled the screen in the same way

ya she is pretty good...infact she is doing better than the previous host(Kamiar Rokni) but sadly no reservations' first season was ended last week i guess...hope to see her back soon.
Dawn News really has a calibre the only news channel in Pakistan which can compete to international level the news channel which doesnt sensational the issues like other news channels its really understand the difference between news n issues
