Huh? Where did I edit something that was hypothetical?

Le me re phrase. Suppose a xyz member of the forum passes hypothetical statement about any other religion. And the remark he gave is not based on any evidence. Would you or would you not -edit- that statement/post/thread.

Your opinion may be totally crappy and if I read it and decide to response I will definitely point out why I don't agree with it, but that doesn't take away your right to come up with wrong or hypothetical opinions on anything under the sun. After all, how else will we learn?

Since you misunderstood my question. I think this response is also written in misuderstood state of mind. Do you think you want to look at it again?

Why would I edit that? First of all, I am not a scholar. Secondly, everyone has a constitutional right to be a moron. Hypothetical or otherwise. Unless your posts are hate-filled or downright insulting, they are not likely to be edited or removed. People ask all sorts of silly questions and post all kinds of weird opinions. Thats what an online discussion forum is all about. If an opinion is wrong, counter it. Editing/deleting is not helpful in clearing the issue up. Having said that, if a particular topic is beaten to death and is inciting nothing but useless bickering, in the interest of making the forum more productive and to make you guys stop wasting your time, we may (or should) put a stop to some kinds of discussions.
