Davydenko secures world title win

**Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko claimed the ATP Tour World Final title with a 6-3 6-4 win against Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina at the O2 Arena in London.**The 28-year-old Davydenko, who beat Roger Federer in the semi-final, gained an early break for 3-1 after Del Potro was rattled by a foot fault.

Davydenko won the set in 35 minutes and was only troubled when he offered up two break points at 3-3 in the second.

The Russian broke the US Open champion for 5-4 and served out to win.
