this is being play in Peshawar between pakistan and china..today to singles were played,and both the team won 1-1..Esam-ul-Haq won it convinsingly..tomorrow we have the doubles match!!

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 21 (Xinhuanet) – Pakistan led China 2-1 after Saturday’s doubles match in their Davis Cup Asia/Oceania zone group two final held in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Aqeel Khan/Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi bt Xu Ran/Zeng Shaoxuan 6-7 (3-7), 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (9-7), 12-10
Friday’s singles
Aqeel Khan lost to Zhu Benqiang 1-6, 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (2-7)
Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi bt Wang Yu 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 Enditem
So it seems that the Pakistan Tennis federation has not taken any action against Aisam for playing with an Israeli as his doubles partner. Good to see better sense pervail.
Pakistan slowly begining to become visible in the tennis world.

That win is great. In teh reverse singles Aisam was cruising ( leading 2-0) then suddenly got injured. n lost 3-2.
I thought that the chances r slim but aqeel played very well.
Well done Aqeel. The good thing is that now it is a team win otehr wise it may have been all one manshow.
