Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.
This is a very interesting article by a former Indian diplomat who I have been following for a while; though I’m still uncertain about what he says in the current article. It is however very interesting.

US and Pakistan square off
By M K Bhadrakumar
The United States State Department has announced that the trilateral United States-Pakistan-Afghanistan meeting at foreign minister level, scheduled to take place in Washington on February 23-24, has been indefinitely postponed. Washington ascribes the postponement due to a cabinet reshuffle in Islamabad on Friday in which foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was replaced.

.....the last thing Americans would do is plant covert terror support......
The last things American Idols would do is put a stop to these wars that are fueling growth of their corporations.
Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.
You have no knowledge of geo-politics, strategic/investment then :)
Go on, I'm listening.
Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.

Perpetual war for corporate profit is a serious concern. But that doesn't mean America put a terrorist in Pakistan. There's plenty of enemies to pick fights with and keep wars going (Iran, North Korea). Attacking Pakistan would only hurt US, both financially (aid gone to waste) and in terms of credibility(attacking an ally).
Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.
mate pakistan and america allies...i dont think so, its a marriage of convenience the americans need pakistan now as they needed us in 1979, when their objectives will be met the relationship will end (its a transactional relationship)...fight your own people and we will provide you with aid (which by the way is peanuts considering the infrastructure losses paistan has had to bear after joining american so called war on terror as an ally), americans have directly or indirectly destroyed pakistan (the decline of pakistan started when we decided to join american war in Afghanistan in 1979)

Isn't that American trend, attacking, destroying an ally, just have a quick look on the list of American allies in last 30 years, most of them are living in most miserable condition if they are not attacked, on the other hand, countries who stood against US, are somewhat living in better situation then those ally countries... hint, checkout south americas, Iraq to start with
Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.
Iran/North Korea would be much more messy, Russia/China still being a big deterrent. If you seriously believe dear Mr. Davis is a friend of Pakistan, helping us eradicate ‘terrorism’, let me know so that I spend no more time talking to you.
Credibility? here it goes…
Re: Davis case - bloodmoney, is the answer.
Davis is a random American involved in a robbery in a foreign country. Nothing more, nothing less. America is neither Pakistans best friend nor is it's worst enemy, both sides try to get what they can.
