Why in sam hell would America support taliban in Pakistan? After pumping billions of dollars in aid, putting pressure on Pakistan to fight extremists, *****ing about no progress being made, carrying out predator strikes, taking heat for predator strikes, and being generally paranoid about Islamic takeover in Pakistan, the last thing Americans would do is plant covert terror support. Whoever wrote the article above is pandering to a sensationalist Pakistani self-important point of view that even Pakistanis would find to be a stretch.
