Daughters or Sons?

I know I know…one should be grateful for whatever they get as long as the kid is functioning normally.

But most of us have a preference, even though we hide it.

I personally want all girls so that un ke saath milkay we can make my husband go crazy.

You?

Re: Daughters or Sons?

haha... i love ur threads PCG...

hmm id be happy with either gender...

Re: Daughters or Sons?

I want at least one of each, as both are different set of experiences and who would wanna miss on the lessons of fatherhood.

Re: Daughters or Sons?

You can dress girls up in prettier clothes. Well you can do the same with boys too but that's a whole other thread.

Re: Daughters or Sons?

I want a girl first, I would love to dress her up with outfits that would match with my own. A friend of mine does that, and I find it so cute. And yeah a boy too, would love to have one of each.

PCG feeling a bit maternal today are ya? :p

Re: Daughters or Sons?

I think sh eis looking for a straight, 35+, rich, Pakistani, muslim, business man or doctor who wants a mother...which is quite redundant from the profile now that I think about it.

Re: Daughters or Sons?

Given the fact that I have never gotten drunk, the thought of a drunk girl makes me drunk…weird, haina?

Re: Daughters or Sons?

When I was first pregnant, I wanted a daughter. I prayed so hard, it was ridiculous. I foolishly thought raising a boy would be harder than a girl. When I was blessed with a son, I learned it wasn't so bad.

Then I got pregnant for the second time and I prayed for a son. I thought it would be nice having another boy for my first son to play with and grow up with. I was blessed with a girl.

There are a couple of lessons here I think, one of which is God gives you what he wants, especially if he thinks you prefer one over another.

Overall, I have to say my son was easier until he turned the magical age of 12 then worse, then easier now that he is 17. My daughter got a lot harder at 15, keeping her focus on school is a full-time job.

Anyway, I am glad I didn't get what I wanted.
