cuz majority of women are short :)
so the probability that you would meet someoen you click with who is not tall are higher than the probability that you would meet someone you click with who is tall.
see we men get such a bad rap, the above post illustrates that we are not as shallow as women make us out to be.
just for comparison pick up a men's and a women's magazine, lets saw GQ or Esquire versus Cosmo or Elle, and you will get an idea of how shallow women are :)
Funny incident! Well i wud def like my guy to be tall but not really tall as in 6'+ n above...but ya definately 5'10"-12". I m 5'3" but every1 tells me i dont look dat short perhaps cuz of my built.

Oh, those magazines the ones that are largely written/published etc etc by men - featuring designers that are largely..Male, who are in turn designing for an physics ideal of feminine beauty which uncannily resembles a small boy. In a patriachal society where a woman is judged by her aesthetic and pressurised incessently - is it any wonder that women desire to "better" themselves in this fashion?
I cant be bothered with that age old discussion. However, Man = has to be taller. Im five 4.5. Ideally 6 foot 3 plus.

first of all yoiu may want to pick up and see the names on staff and editors and all.
secondly, when it comes to shallowness women go and buy those magazines, and judge each other on all the stuff.
are you saying they dont have the capacity or capability to think for themselves and only do what they are told?
interesting
I couldn't be bothered with that age old discussion either.
Almighty made and gave all the people different features and phenotype including, dark, fair complextion, short, tall stature, heavy or slender frame ...etc. every one is beautiful - for the inner beauty and the outer is a blessing but what if the inner side is bad, and your 'dating' would have you make a life partnership decision, if true love existed, are you going to base that decision on physical features? if yes, how much of a good human being are you? are you looking to have a relationship with a human being, or a made to order, customized ITEM that matches your measurements???
Dushwari...
Please be quiet...we have our preferences...now Dushwari since your a 'good' human being i suppose you would be quite happy to date a guys that 4ft talll or a guy thats 600lb...so allow your self righteousness...it doesnt make a person bad if they say i prefer a girl whos shorter than me...
Mamaof3...
I couldnt imagine being 4 inches shorter than my missus...good on you though...
FemmeFatale...
It really is weird how short girls love up significantly taller guys...theres a girl in my class who 5ft and her boyfriend is 6'6''...its crazy...any girl iv met 5'2 or under has been a guy 6ft or over wholst my ex for instance who was 5'6 thought 5'10 was tall...confusing...
Fraudia sahib I would like to quote Mary Wollstonecraft (1792)
"Women are told from their infancy, and taught by the example of their mothers, that a little knowledge of human weakness, justly termed cunningly, softness of temper, outward obedience, and a scrupulous attention to a puerile kind of propriety, will obtain for them the protection of a man; and should they be beautiful, everything else is needless, for, at least twenty years of their lives"
Nothing, apparantly is changed. To change such an age old, universal notion will take more than just the twenty years in which this vague semblence of freedom has been gathered. It is not only a a doctrine imposed by man - but one which (due to the previous illeducation of women) has been further perpetuated by the women.
High fashion remains a largely male dominated industry- and the designers, do - unarguably design for a perfect androgenous (small boy alike) - which helps increase this sense of insecurity which has beset many women. Now that woman is both a physical and an intellectual creature - increased pressures from a society that "demands perfection" not withstanding.
Aesthetic shallowness aside: the flash cars, the power, money and ego - are those not the afflictions of a shallow, testosterone filled mind? The pressures on the sexes are different re: hunter gatherer vs nurturer - and so the insecurities are realised in different ways.
That is not to say the man is more or less shallow, but that his pressures create a mental environment that is more ikely to cause an intellectual discomfort - stretching the boundries of human development whereas the aesthetic shallowness serves no purpose but to breed both vanity and narcisism.
