a person who follows religion blindly is one who doesnt read or takes the time to understand their religion...they go by what others tell them.

I dont do that!! i can give u many verses like the one i posted above that clearly tell u that being alone with someone of the opposite gender who is non-mehrem is haram and so can many others on here.

now if u date that is up 2 u and i dont look down upon ppl that do because it is none of my business. im not perfect myself and i nvr claimed to be. However dont tell me that sinning is ok...cuz that is exactly what u are doing.

there is nothing wrong with getting to know someone for the purpose of marriage (the shariah way) in fact it is encouraged...it's the way YOU go about it that makes it wrong...(ie dating)

I dont have any for or against it. All I am saying is based on the relationship the prophet shared with his first wife prior to their marriage, this should be allowed if no sex was involved. Since sex is a big NO NO outside marriage in Islam.

there is nothing wrong with getting to know someone for the purpose of marriage (the shariah way) in fact it is encouraged...it's the way YOU go about it that makes it wrong...(ie dating)

thas what bothers me the most.if u commit sins then atleast admit them…and what i see is some ppl get very defensive and try to justify thier wrong doing which is sin in itself:o …so actually they r comitting 2 sins …1for their haraam acts and other for the fact that they r lying to themself and others:halo: ..

The only situation where a girl can speak to a guy is in the presense of her and his parents or some adult/guardian when the marriage proposal is put forward. Otherwise, its not permissible........cuz, these things might lead to adultry.. and Allah has also forbidden those things that might lead you to wrong doing....

He knew her before they got married. It was the time that he spent with her before he got married that led to his decision of marrying her. Thats what dating is all about. Not what you think dating means. Please consider main stream thinking not the Taliban approach

You kidding me? they only had the relation of a Boss and his Employee.
She never Asked Muhammad s.a.w for marriage directly, She confided this desire to her friend, Nufaysah, who in turn approached Mohammed (saw). This confused him. He asked How could such a noble woman, who had turned down the marriage proposals of the noblest and wealthiest Quraysh men, desire to marry him?! Mohammed uncle Abu Talib and Khadijah's uncle 'Umar ibn Asad sat down to arrange the completion of the marriage. Little did any of them know just what the future had in store for this new couple!

NO where in ANY source does it say they went out, or they had talks besides their work.

She admired his success and his work habits, so she sent the rishta, so she married cuz of her choice, This is allowed in Islam HAhaha.

i mean seriously…i know a lot of guys from uni…i worked with lots of guys some who i may happen to find “marriage material” later down the road…am i dating?..really plz answer…someone anyone
