yes I go on dates. Here is my rule: if I think Imight want to see the guy again, I will let him pay (unless he doesnt offer). If I am not interested, then I offer to pay half. I only let him pay if he insists...makes sense?

However if someone is trying to tell u something different than yr opinion, it doesnt necessairly mean they r wrong. You know, you are also a human being and they can be wrong. If a man spends sixty bucks or anything less than 100,
1- He does not like you. He knows you are not classy!
2- He is just being gentleman not to hurt your feelings.
3- He was just plain bored and wanted to use you as an entertainment object.
4- He had a fight with his wife at home and did not want to spend so much that she will find out. Perhaps has kids to save money for them.
5- Don't be surprised if he gives you his leftover also as a kind gesture to eat as lunch next day! Saying: "No I insist". What an awkward situation innit?
