Hello everyone, I know there are lot of I.T. experts here and I just wanna ask if you can give me a brief explanation about data governance. I have three questions: 1) is it applicable to every industry? 2) is it expensive? 3) names of (data governance) service providers that you know. I am going to attend a summit abroad about data governance and I want to prepare for it as much as I can so can you guys help me? Thanks in advance

Eustacia, that's good! Its a very good opportunity to attend a summit abroad. By the way, almost all organizations in all industries give importance to data governance, that's what I know and it has been established on publishing and even tagging. However, I'm not familiar with a provider that help you with it.

Well, my friend mentioned this “provider”. In the link, there is a brief definition and explanation about data governance, unfortunately my other questions were not answered.
I guess, its better if I will contact them personally. Anyway, summit is nearly coming, hoping I am gonna gather enough info about data governance. TIA
