Data entry

Any one here knows how to get a data entry job? I’ve been searching online but most of them aren’t legit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Data entry

The best way forward is to get in touch with the recruitment agencies in your area ... call them up , meet a consultant ... they have legit data entry jobs and you will be sure that the client will pay your properly should you get a job with them ....

Re: Data entry

Hope you found the job you were looking for. However if you haven't, you definitely should check out www.odesk.com with countless jobs including data entry jobs and... it's a legit site. Good Luck :)

Re: Data entry

Have you considered offering data entry as a business rather then look for a job? I know from acquaintances who do offer it as a service to their clients, they earn three times more then people they hire as data entry staff.

Re: Data entry

look at guru.com and elance.com they are legit sites and poeple post their jobs on these sites. I myself hired a couple of web designers and graphic designers from these sites.

Re: Data entry

The thing that concerns me about using Guru.com and elance.com is that you get a lot of tire kickers and people who are looking to hire they seem to be looking for the lowest bid. It is hard to build a lucrative business using bidding sites.

Re: Data entry

Something is better than nothing. No one is forcing anybody to bid to work for peanuts. If one cannot find any work they can build a business by getting business and then accumulating good feedbacks. They guy who bid for my work for 500 dollars and got the contract few years back now charges 3000 dollars for same kind of work . I had to look for another cheaper person for me. :bummer:

Re: Data entry

Bidding low to build a portfolio makes sense.

If you need to outsource web design work in the future, let me know. I have a subcontractor who helped us when we needed help within the same budget as yours.
