What are some different ways one goes about setting up a New Data Base maintaining and or setting up Independent service provider?
Not wanting to be part of any existing Large Companies like Salesforce etc!

Database is one word, no?
Well I wish I could have answer to your question. But no. @mahool @us1415 or others?
Database sure is one word. There is a reason folks buy software off the shelf instead of creating their own but if you want to take that on, You can hire developers through any freelance services or hire them in Pakistan or India and get it done for cheaper but it will cost you a lot of money and time if you are looking to develop your own CRM.
Yes you can tell am not IT Savvy, so will call it Database! I have heard of Oracle Database used by large businesses to keep records of products inventory and payroll, Airlines got to have all their flight reservations on a Database too!
Not an issue. Got to start somewhere right?
Oracle is a very big database for small businesses and very expensive. The best bet would be to start with a small open source database like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, etc and build it from there. These days there are NoSQL databases such as dynamoDB, MongoDB that would store the data which is not relational.
There is a reason that people go with big well-reputed companies and that is because of the after market support. No one wants a system that goes down making you lose critical time and $$$$ due to substandard or no support.
I have seen companies go the cheap route and it ain't pretty when **** hits the fan.
Thanks @Doppleganger and @us1415 , what is going on here is I may want to invest in a start up DBA type venture so need to get familiar with the technical terms, but most important to find Clients who want DBA work done in the US preferably or within reasonable distance from Texas!
I have a friend who will do the Database maintenance part to begin with until the Business grows to where we can get more Tech people Insha Allah!
I agree but the companies that go for big names are big companies not startups. They try to stick with open source until they make it big and then converting to a big name database with support makes sense. I have been at big companies where we used all open source products since there is a lot of help and support online from the community that helps building the solution. Plus going from a RDBMS to another RDBMS isnt that big of an issue when the time is right.
OK! Very good to know Masha Allah!
I can see it as a viable approach but personally, I think that it is a waste of time and $$$ to pay the software support team or hire people to do the transfer later. Many times, it is also a PITA as different databases have different capabilities and then you also have to retrain everyone. For example, I find SAP to be very intuitive but I know people who are scared **** of it.
No my experience is in Aerospace Engrg, where we are exposed to and use Access on some projects!
SalesForce is CRM. Can you please explain more? What kind of Database? SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDb, Oracle?
Where do I invest in your company?
Oracle and or what the Clients needs are!
I appreciate your enthusiasm! in a few months time we will have scoped out what resources are needed Insha Allah!
Thanks @mahool for your insight, that makes sense!
It's very good to see amazing keep it up dear..
